Why We Started

TalentPay Analytics was founded by an account manager working in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry who experienced firsthand the frustrations of navigating compensation conversations without reliable data.

After years of working with AEC firms and professionals, it became clear that existing talent reports and salary surveys weren't cutting it. They were either:

  • Too broad — lumping all engineers together without distinguishing between Civil, Structural, MEP, and other specialized disciplines
  • Not granular enough — failing to account for certifications, years of experience, regional differences, or work arrangements
  • Outdated — published annually (or less frequently) when the market moves quarterly

We created TalentPay Analytics to solve this problem. Our mission is to provide the AEC community with compensation insights that are detailed, current, and actionable — data that reflects what people actually care about when making career decisions.

Privacy & Security First

Your trust matters. All survey responses are stored securely with AES-256 encryption and transmitted over TLS 1.3. We collect zero personally identifiable information — no names, no company names, no street addresses. Email addresses (for those who opt in) are stored separately from survey data and are never sold or shared.

Only aggregated, anonymized statistics are published. Individual responses cannot be traced back to you. Our systems are designed with privacy by default to ensure your data remains protected.
